We’re excited to announce two new integrations with Edmodo – the ability to log into NextLesson with your Edmodo credentials and the ability to access NextLesson through Edmodo Spotlight.

Log into NextLesson with Edmodo Connect

Now Edmodo users can log into NextLesson using their Edmodo credentials. Once you are logged into NextLesson through Edmodo Connect, your Edmodo class information will automatically be pulled, allowing you to share lessons with your Edmodo classes directly from NextLesson.

Access NextLesson on Edmodo Spotlight

In addition, Edmodo is transitioning the Edmodo Store into its new home, Edmodo Spotlight. With this transition, NextLesson has decided to simplify how Edmodo users access our apps. Previously, NextLesson had over 30 individual apps including 500+ Free Projects and Lessons, InterestID, Rank & Reason, Common Core Browser, Grade Level Complete apps, and a number of individual projects and lessons. You will now be able to access all of these in our new NextLesson app, found in Edmodo Spotlight. Be sure to add NextLesson to your Edmodo Library so you don’t forget to share it with your students when school starts!

You and your students can access NextLesson on Edmodo in two ways:

1. Click the “Visit Web Link” button from the NextLesson Spotlight listing, and authorize access with your Edmodo credentials. You’ll be taken to your NextLesson dashboard where you can search for lessons and assign them to your student groups.
2. Click the “Share on Edmodo” button from the NextLesson Spotlight listing, and share to selected student groups with any notes you’d like to include. This will create a post on the walls of those selected groups with a link to NextLesson, where students can access assigned lessons.

If you’ve purchased a paid app or downloaded an individual lesson, this access will remain the same and the lessons will still be shared with your students. However, you will now access and manage these in the new NextLesson app on Spotlight. Your previously downloaded lessons will be found in your My Lessons library. Moving forward, all free downloads, lesson purchases and subscriptions will be done through the single NextLesson app:
